GROW YOUR OWN ART-SCI PATHWAY FOR WILDLIFE CONSERVATION WITH FEEDBACK AND GUIDANCE FROM OUR MENTORS.
The Creature Conserve Mentorship Program is a support system for artists, designers, writers and experts with scientific and traditional knowledge as they collaborate and explore the human connection to nature, creating new art-sci pathways to a healthier world for all creatures.
We support proposals from any art-making or adjacent practice, including those interested in developing their skills in science communication and art advocacy related to wildlife conservation. Successful applicants also receive free, unlimited access to our online workshops for a full year.
Mentorship runs from October through the end of March and occurs exclusively online. Access to the internet and digital comprehension are essential and required. Our program is conducted in English. Currently, our Mentorship program is NOT stipend-supported. Participants from all countries and backgrounds are welcome to apply.
This year (2024) we are launching a two-step application process. The first step is participation in our FREE Mentorship Workshop in August. This workshop is open to everyone; it is also mandatory for those interested in joining our Mentorship cohort for the 2024-2025 season. After the workshop, select participants will be invited to submit a formal application.
MENTORSHIP WORKSHOP 2024
DATES: Sunday August 4 & Sunday August 11, 2024

Registration closed July 31, 2024
Who is involved in mentorship?
Mentees: individuals seeking help or guidance for any personal or professional project related to collaborating (art-sci, writing-sci) and exploring the human connection to nature, creating new pathways to a more sustainable world for all creatures.
Mentors: established artists, designers, writers, and scientists who have leadership experience (formal or informal) and either currently work in art-sci wildlife conservation or are interested in collaborating with Creature Conserve.
Mentorship Fellows: the program is supported by Fellows who are developing new art-sci pathways for wildlife conservation.
We encourage each Mentee to forge their own creative path, develop a meaningful relationship with their Mentor, and expand their access to the wealth of expertise, knowledge, and talent across the Creature Conserve network of artists, designers, scientists, and writers.
