RE-EXAMINING CONSERVATION: Questions at the Intersection of Art & Science

Re-Examining Conservation invited viewers to examine how, where, and why each of us may seek to establish “a biological balance” in our human-animal relationships. Each painting, poem, print, sculpture, video, and more raised the question: “what is conservation.” Each artist tackled the same challenge: how to visualize the complex relationships between humans and animals.

“Re-Examining Conservation: Questions at the Intersection of Art and Science” premiered at the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts at Brown University from April 4-June 10, 2022.
