DG House, 2023 Exhibiting Artist

As an Indigenous creative, DG House takes joy in the challenge of producing art that represents wildlife and people who don’t often have a voice in our society. House finds inspiration and stories everywhere. House’s color palette reflects the traditional earthen paints created by the First People, and her paintings’ geometric borders are reminiscent of the designs used on Native American par fleche; traditional raw hide pouches.

DG House’s painting, Together We Dance, was included in Re-Imagining Conservation: From Many Viewpoints, at The National Museum of Wildlife Art, 2023.
