On Tuesday, March 22, 2022 we lost Elif Ilkel, a cherished friend and invaluable member of Creature Conserve. We will always remember her for the smiles she gifted us, for her contagious passion for wildlife and the natural world, and for her astounding contributions as a filmmaker and member of our core team. In her honor, we have established a memorial scholarship for an artist/designer/writer seeking to participate in a conservation studies course abroad or who seeks to design and conduct their own project exploring the art and science of conservation. The scholarship is offered every April.
