ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:

Join scientist Andreia Sousa, artist Sofiya Shukhova, and scientist Andreia Pereira for a two-part workshop that asks the question: How do we explore and engage in a dialogue with the ocean? This workshop will dive into the acoustic world of cetaceans and explore the challenges of species communication. After learning about marine soundscapes and cetacean communication, you will be invited to create experimental dialogues that combine scientific insights with artistic expression. By the end of this workshop your project will be a unique fusion of art and science, aimed at sparking conservation action and new ways of engaging with marine wildlife.
